Upon pressing the lock core the lock engages and emits a single tone to indicate 
A locked status. The alarm activates after a delay of 15 seconds. If the vibration Sensor detects 2 vibrations within a 5 second period, an alarm sounds. Then, An alarm will sound with only one vibration. The alarm ceases automatically After 35 seconds in which there are no vibrations. The alarm can be turned off Manually by use of the key, and the unit will give a double tone notification sound. 

The battery can be easily replaced by removing the two screws in the butterfly lock, And removing the cover. When replacing the battery, be careful not to damage The anode and cathode of the battery
